Your Role In Recovery
Imagine you're a superhero, but instead of a cape, you’ve got a stethoscope and some resistance bands. As an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist, you’re the go-to expert for people who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or just dealing with the day-to-day aches and pains of life. Your job? Help them get back to feeling awesome, one move at a time!
- Custom Treatment Plans: design personalized plans involving stretching, strengthening, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, heat, ice).
- Therapeutic Exercises and Manual Therapy: guide patients through exercises and stretches to build strength and flexibility.
- Progress Tracking: monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
- Patient Coach and Educator: teach injury prevention, posture, and safe movement.
- Team Player: collaborate with orthopedic doctors, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure quality care.
- High Fives and High Expectations: support patients in returning to active lifestyles.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist required (New grads are encouraged to apply!)
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
