Medical Technologist & Lab Technician, Clinical Research
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager the Laboratory Supervisor provides first line supervision over the technical and operational staff in a defined laboratory area.
- Provides personnel and staffing oversight for a limited area of the lab.
- Supervises staff technical and professional performance.
- Maintains a positive and professional work environment.
- Investigates documents and resolves problems and complaints.
- Provides backup support for Department Manager.
- Performs laboratory test procedures.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act & Amendments (CLIA) - Experience:
3 years relevant experience - License/Certification:
Medical Technologist or categorical, ASCP or equivalent
Job requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Repetitive motion: computer use. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, noise, radiation (in limited specific areas), blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $89,199.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
