Pending licenses accepted (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date).
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS required; PALS preferred. ARRT, RCES, or RCIS preferred. Must-Have:
Epic experience required.
Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment required.
Description:
4x10s Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:30. Call required one Saturday every six weeks. Candidates must have experience in 3D imaging, accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, and baseline measurements. Candidates should be familiar with cardiac ablation, circulating procedures, conduction studies, and working in an Electrophysiology Lab. Experience with fluoroscopy and insertion/programming of AICDs is required. Candidates should maintain equipment and perform EKG lead placement.
Skill in prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintaining a sterile field is necessary. Knowledge of vascular closure systems like Perclose and Star Close is preferred. Candidates will be required to stock supplies and work with ultrasound equipment. Must use rapid response/code teams as needed. Candidate must be able to float within their scope of practice as needed.
