Senior Systems Engineer – MSP

Requirements Must have:

• Over 5 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider or multi-client IT service setting.
• Advanced proficiency in various technologies including:
• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
• Azure / Microsoft 365 administration
• Hyper-V
• Networking (firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs)
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Security tools (EDR, MFA, identity management, email filtering)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proven experience overseeing IT projects from inception to completion.
• Exceptional communication and customer support skills.

• Relevant industry certifications
• Knowledge of scripting or automation techniques (Power Shell preferred).
• Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools.

• Provide advanced technical support as Tier 3 escalation for intricate incidents involving servers, networks, cloud environments, and security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve critical issues across multi‑site or multi‑tenant infrastructures.
• Lead or contribute to client initiatives such as infrastructure enhancements, cloud migrations, security upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Develop scalable, secure, and standardized solutions that align with Managed Service Provider best practices.
• Serve as a trusted technical consultant during quarterly business reviews, strategy discussions, and project planning.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that achieve client objectives.
• Supervise the deployment and upkeep of servers, virtualization technologies, storage solutions, networking hardware, and cloud services.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery systems, patching routines, and security measures to maintain compliance and system reliability.
• Produce and update comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration guidelines.
• Propose and execute enhancements to monitoring, automation, and service efficiency.
• Mentor junior and mid‑tier engineers by providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in conducting interviews and onboarding of new personnel.
