You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them manage risk, implement smart insurance strategies, and grow with confidence over time.

This is an in-office role based in Charlottesville, Virginia, with time spent prospecting, meeting clients, and engaging in the community.

• Build relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers
• Develop referral networks and centers of influence
• Design and implement long-term insurance strategies for businesses
• Build and manage a profitable book of business while exceeding production and retention goals
• Steward client, in-office account management, and insurance carrier partner team relationships
• Stay sharp on products, insurance carriers, systems, workflows, and technology
• Commit to continuous improvement through training, education, and skill development

• A curious, growth-minded professional who creates opportunities and solves problems
• A track record of setting goals and executing plans to achieve them
• Proven sales success advising business owners or entrepreneurs (insurance experience preferred)
• Strong communicator- written, verbal, and in person or virtual
• Property & Casualty and Life licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain and maintain)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, video conferencing, and modern AI tools
