Afton Scientific is a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) in Virginia that specializes in small-batch filling of injectables from clinical trials to approved commercial drugs.

• Serving clients in 18 Countries
• Successful NDA and ANDA drug registrations
• In good standing with the FDA, PMDA, and MHRA

• Performs production inspections, labeling, serialization, packaging and logistics operations
• Performs production operations according to batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Must become a certified inspector within 90 days of start
• Maintains order and cleanliness in the labeling and inspection areas
• Maintains inventory of supplies

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or Bachelors degree preferred
• Two years manufacturing experience in a related industry required.

• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds, push/pull, bend/twist, some overhead work.
• Good vision a must. 20/20 corrected vision required for inspection duties. Annual eye exam required.
