Overview
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 3 – our Med Surg Unit in Charlottesville, VA. This is a full-time night shift position (12-hour shift) in a highly staffed medical-surgical unit. Up to $20k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Cornell 3 is a 24-bed medical-surgical unit focused on gastrointestinal care, addressing conditions like gallbladder diseases, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, colon resections, and ostomy creation. The unit also cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, and diabetes complications, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 for personalized care. It is an ideal environment for both experienced nurses and new graduates seeking skill development.
