Role: The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit provides comprehensive pre- and post-procedure nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:Perform nursing assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on the nursing process. Collaborate with a team of gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons to deliver high-quality care, manage a nurse-patient ratio of 1:3, and support patient education and health promotion. Handle an average of 16-18 procedures daily, both ambulatory and inpatient, in a fast-paced environment. Maintain compliance with professional standards and prioritize patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications & Skills- Registered Nursing Degree (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification within 90 days; ACLS within 6 months
- Previous endoscopy, procedural, or sterile setting experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
