American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I or II trauma center experience and active VA or compact RN licensure.

• 13-week assignment in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week with scheduled days varying based on staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating within scope of practice may be required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active VA or compact RN license (pending license accepted if in-hand by the Wednesday before start)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (TNCC may be pending but must be obtained before start)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• At least 1 year of Level I trauma center experience or 2 years of Level II trauma center experience required
• Pediatric ER experience required
• Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience required
• BSN preferred
• Triage skills preferred

• Provide emergency nursing care within a Level I and Level II Trauma Center environment
• Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Maximum of 40 hours of RTO approved per 13-week contract, must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Any vacation time planned between offer acceptance and start date must be disclosed early to arrange a suitable start date
• Previous permanent or traveler employment with this health system requires a 1-year separation and leadership approval
• External travelers may not exceed 365 total assignment days with this health system
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
