Aramark is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join the Fresh Food Company team at Newcomb Hall . This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude who is committed to providing excellent service to students, faculty, and staff.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food items according to established recipes and standards.

• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., slicers, grills, ovens, warmers).

• Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and quality.

• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.

• Monitor food levels and temperatures to ensure they meet health and safety regulations.

• Clean and sanitize workstations, dining areas, and equipment throughout the shift.

• Handle cash and process payments accurately at the register, if required.

• Assist with stocking inventory and organizing storage areas.

• Adhere to all Aramark and health department policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior experience in a food service or customer-facing role is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Must be able to read and follow recipes and safety instructions.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the dining facility.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to perform various duties.

• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures, including hot kitchen environments and cold storage rooms.
