• Provide exceptional customer service to individuals at the retail location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail area and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking credentials as required by site policies.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Collaborate with retail staff and/or management to address concerns and provide support during emergency response activities.
• Remain visible and approachable to help deter potential security-related issues and provide a sense of presence throughout the location.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
