Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
  • Thursday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:
  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials for all individuals entering the premises, following site‑specific policies.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging entries and issuing access badges as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate security‑related concerns and observations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with general inquiries related to the location.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site‑specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
