Software Engineer; Generalist

This professional will be a key member of Investure’s Technology team, working closely with senior engineering leadership and partnering with colleagues across the firm’s functional teams.

This individual will be responsible for building and supporting internal software tools and systems used primarily across investment, accounting, reporting, and data analysis workflows. The role focuses on developing user-focused solutions that support business process automation and AI-driven enhancements to drive the firm’s mission forward. The professional will collaborate closely with a talented team, working together to deliver effective, scalable, and tailored solutions to meet the firm's unique needs.

The ideal candidate is a skilled and motivated software engineer with a passion for developing innovative, user-focused tools and solutions, along with an interest in the investment industry. This individual will have strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with relational databases and object-oriented design. This individual will demonstrate a strong work ethic and is driven by the desire to work collaboratively to solve challenging technical problems and create value for the firm.

This person should be a hands-on engineer who earns credibility through sound judgment and execution and is adept at using modern AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed. Cultural alignment, humility, and maturity are imperative.

This is a full-time position with an anticipated starting annual base salary range of $98,000 - $105,000 at the time of this posting. Annual salary is a part of Investure’s overall compensation and benefits package; full-time positions are typically eligible for discretionary components including merit-based performance bonus, portfolio bonus (based on firm performance), and employer 401k contribution, among other benefits such as group health insurance.

Additional factors considered in determining base salary include (but are not limited to) position responsibilities, individual education/qualifications, general and role‑specific experience, knowledge, skills and other abilities, as well as internal equity, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

This position is based in-office with a remote option on Fridays.
