Qualifications:

• Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations
• Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes
• Positive relations with students, parents, and the community
• Extensive knowledge of individual and team fundamentals in track & field
• Ability to organize practice schedules and promote teamwork and sportsmanship
• Previous coaching experience required
• Virginia teaching license or eligibility preferred

Coaching experience in track & field is helpful. Hours include after school and weekends. Coaching stipend available.

Physical Conditions and Work Contacts: Duties are performed in school settings, including gym and recreational areas. Requires walking, standing, light lifting, and close contact with student-athletes, including travel to matches. Regular interaction with coaches, administrators, parents, and media.

Note: All positions are part-time and temporary.
