We are seeking a Senior Accountant who is motivated to advance into leadership. This role goes beyond typical accounting duties, offering exposure to financial reporting, inventory and cost accounting, and process improvement. • Oversee daily and monthly accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Take ownership of assigned portions of the month‑end close and support consolidated reporting.
• Assist in preparing GAAP‑compliant financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Manage inventory reconciliations, cost tracking, and COGS analysis, collaborating with operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Strengthen internal controls across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and tax compliance.
• Act as a key user for ERP/accounting systems, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff while taking on projects that expand into Assistant Controller‑level responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; background in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and month‑end close.
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, nested formulas); ERP experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
