Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk supports financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, managing expense reconciliations, and maintaining financial records to support business value.

Employment Duties

Accounts Receivable & Revenue
  • Perform invoicing of customer projects and milestones.
  • Perform invoicing for annual license renewals
  • Manage collections for customers to ensure timely payment.
  • Prepare and process bank deposits.
  • Complete set up forms for customers to ensure they have correct entity information and payment information.
  • Update customer contacts and information as gathered in financial system.
  • Maintain collections tracker
  • Manage quote tracker
Accounts Payable & Expenses
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage the Navan platform for teams expense tracking and reporting.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of travel expenses.
  • Conduct employee expense reconciliation to ensure policy compliance.
General Accounting & Reconciliation
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for intercompany accounts
  • Support software onboarding and implementation processes as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track tasks and deliverables, and provide regular updates to the supervisor.
  • Manage mail, filing, occasional office orders and couriers.
Job Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with Quick Books required.
Job Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to support financial implementations and software onboarding.
  • Ability to build relationships with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quick Books, Google Suite).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage demands.
  • Self-starter and motivated.
  • Integrity and work ethic.
  • Initiative to complete job duties.
  • Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback.
