Position: Expert Financial Accounting Officer Wanted
Health PEI is seeking a skilled Financial Accounting Officer to enhance our accounting operations. This pivotal role focuses on accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting across a variety of accounts.

As the Financial Accounting Officer, you will coordinate complex accounting functions, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, preparing financial statements, and conducting thorough audits of asset and liability accounts. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you collaborate with management and staff to support financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Manager of Accounting Services on financial issues

• Manage timely collections of accounts receivable

• Prepare reports analyzing account collections and write-offs

• Post actual transactions across accounting modules accurately

• Conduct month-end and year-end financial statement prep

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

• Significant experience in financial accounting systems

• Competency in software tools for accounting tasks

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and commendable work history
