Construction Labourer – Commercial Construction

Job Summary

Wilmac Construction is looking for hardworking and reliable Construction Labourers to join our growing commercial construction team across Prince Edward Island. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, want to gain experience in the construction industry, and are interested in long-term opportunities within a growing company.

For motivated individuals interested in pursuing a carpentry career, apprenticeship advancement opportunities may be available.

Location: Charlottetown & Summerside, PEI

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Salary Range: $19.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Schedule: Full-time employment, Monday to Friday, approximately 44 hours per week, Home every night – all projects located within PEI

• Assist carpenters, foremen, and site supervisors with construction activities
• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
• Perform site cleanup and maintain organized work areas
• Assist with demolition, framing, and general construction tasks
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Follow site safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with other trades and team members

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment
• Previous construction experience considered an asset but not required
• Valid driver’s license considered an asset
