Join the Atlantic Veterinary College as a Student EDI Ambassador to enhance equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. This part-time position supports resource organization and engagement within the college community.

The Student EDI Ambassador role at AVC focuses on improving access to existing EDI learning resources for students, faculty, and staff. If you are a current student in the DVM program, this is an excellent opportunity to collaborate on EDI projects and provide valuable perspectives. You will engage in organizing materials, attending EDI meetings, and contributing to enhancing the college's inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and compile EDI-related learning resources for AVC

• Organize resources by theme to improve usability

• Document community feedback for future EDI development

• Support awareness of EDI materials among the AVC community

• Consult during AVC EDI Committee meetings on progress and gaps

Requirements:

• Current DVM student in good academic standing

• Strong collaboration and organizational skills

• Commitment to learn about EDI principles

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Experience in public speaking is an asset
