The Department of Music is seeking Student Stage Managers to assist with the management of recitals given in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall and Performing Arts Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Moving equipment
- Operating the house lights and stage lights
- Preparing the hall and the stage for performances
- Assisting performers as a stagehand during performances
- Page turning for accompanists
- Closing the hall after performances
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference will be given to UPEI students enrolled in the Music Department
- Preference will be given to those familiar with recital protocols and procedures
- Preference will be given to senior students
- Must be able to read music fluently
- Must be able to move music equipment safely and effectively
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
