$17.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

The Department of Music is seeking Student Stage Crew to assist with the set-up of department equipment (chairs, music stands, and percussion instruments) when rented by external organizations for concerts and events taking place in the Performing Arts Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set-up and tear-down of department equipment for rehearsals and concerts
  • This student will receive a list of equipment from the department chair, and consult with the external client for instructions on the arrangement of the equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference will be given to senior UPEI student enrolled in the Music Department
  • Preference will be given to percussion majors or Music Ed students who have taken Percussion Techniques
  • Must be able to move music equipment safely and effectively
  • Familiarity with band set-up would be an asset

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
