Position: Capital Projects Mechanical Engineer Role
Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in capital projects and manufacturing efficiency in Charlottetown, PE. Lead facility upgrades and enhance production processes.
In this permanent, full-time position, you will oversee the planning and implementation of capital projects while supporting ongoing manufacturing activities.

Your role includes collaborating with other engineering teams and providing mentorship to a junior Process Engineer. Your insights will help optimize production quality and compliance with regulatory standards to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct execution of facility upgrades and equipment installations

• Manage budgets and project schedules effectively

• Review and validate engineering layouts and P&IDs

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in operations

• Provide coaching and oversight to junior engineers
Requirements:

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience

• Expertise in manufacturing process optimization

• Proficient with Lean and Six Sigma practices

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance

• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
