You will play a critical role in enhancing dam safety efforts, performing inspections, and contributing to the design and management of water control infrastructures. Your responsibilities include preparing emergency plans and resource management strategies, ensuring alignment with provincial regulations. Collaborating with a dynamic team, your project planning and communication skills are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform field inspections and dam safety analysis
• Oversee design and contract efforts for infrastructure
• Develop Dam Emergency Plans and operational strategies
• Contribute to project proposals and approvals
• Manage budgeting and resource allocation with the team
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineering
• Professional Engineer (ing.) Designation required
• At least 5 years in engineering roles focusing on safety
• Proficient in project management and planning
• Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel
