Senior Risk and Compliance Advisor

Elevate your career as a Senior Risk and Compliance Advisor working closely with credit unions to monitor risk and ensure regulatory compliance. In this role, you will evaluate governance and internal controls, providing critical analysis and support.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this senior role focuses on managing enterprise risk frameworks and compliance management for credit unions. You will also assess retail and commercial credit risks, training stakeholders on best practices. Your expertise will help shape policies and procedures while maintaining adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct credit union risk assessments and monitor emerging risks

• Review retail and commercial credit risk management practices

• Support CUDIC’s compliance management framework and regulatory adherence

• Evaluate governance and internal controls through compliance reviews

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in related discipline

• Extensive experience in risk management or compliance in financial services

• Proven skills in implementing risk frameworks and assessments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Master’s degree or relevant designation preferred
