Facilities Administrator

Position: Facilities Administrator at Holland College
Join Holland College as a Facilities Administrator to ensure the Tourism & Culinary Centre operates smoothly and safely. Lead maintenance efforts, support staff, and maintain facility standards daily.

In this role, you will oversee activities involving maintenance, custodial, and kitchen cleaning teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities Management, you will play a critical role in coordinating projects and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. The position requires a mix of management and technical skills as it focuses on operational efficiency and facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and cleaning staff

• Recruit, train, and support personnel within the facility

• Monitor maintenance projects and prepare status updates

• Inspect facilities and recommend repairs as needed

• Respond to emergencies and assist with repairs

Requirements:

• College diploma or trade credential in building maintenance

• Minimum five years of experience in facilities maintenance

• At least one year of supervisory experience

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Valid driver’s license required
