We all agree that we need to work together to turn poverty into possibility on PEI. Based on United Way of PEI’s research, consultation, and experience over the past three years supporting the community response to COVID-19 and Hurricane Fiona, we know there are two key steps to make this happen:
- Shift 30% of project funding for charities and non-profits to core/operational funding.
- Announce a Basic Income Guarantee project on PEI.
