Registered Nurse PEI

The Mount Continuing Care Community is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses in Charlottetown, PEI, to provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care. Join a compassionate, respectful team committed to exceptional service.

This temporary role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires delivering nursing care under medical direction and provincial regulations. As a Registered Nurse, you will primarily work on the nursing floor, focusing on patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary health team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents to determine nursing intervention needs

• Collaborate with health team to plan and evaluate care

• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed

• Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions

• Supervise LPNs and other staff for optimal care

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized registered nursing program

• Current registration with Association of Registered Nurses of PEI

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Meet physical requirements of the nursing position
