UPEI is hiring a Clinical Nursing Instructor dedicated to educating nursing students in maternity and pediatric settings. You will work at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, supervising clinical practices and offering instruction in community placements.
Your role will be essential for fostering effective learning and applying evidence-based approaches in nursing education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise clinical experiences for nursing students
• Provide pediatric and maternity health instruction
• Teach in community nursing environments
• Collaborate with nursing faculty and students in learning initiatives
• Engage in research and continuous development of nursing pedagogy
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience required
• Eligibility for PEICNM licensure
• Valid driver’s license necessary
• Experience in student clinical supervision is an asset
