Mobile Mental Health Registered Nurse

Medavie Health Services seeks a dedicated nurse for its Mobile Mental Health Team. The role involves conducting mental health assessments, developing case management plans, and providing trauma-informed care. Successful candidates will work in partnership with community services, focusing on positive recovery outcomes through education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete client assessments including suicide risk and medication history

• Assess clientele for appropriate service options

• Facilitate client education in individual and group settings

• Develop collaborative case management plans with clients

• Provide recovery-focused and trauma-informed care

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years nursing experience in hospital or community settings

• Active or eligible registration with nursing authority

• Knowledge of mental health legislation and substance use

• Proficiency with Telus EMR is an asset
