The Faculty of Nursing is seeking dedicated applicants for the Clinical Nursing Instructor position will oversee students during clinical rotations in medical-surgical settings and other primary care venues. This role also emphasizes research and participation in nursing education initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings
• Conduct direct supervision in medical-surgical nursing
• Facilitate educational experiences in community healthcare
• Participate in nursing education research projects
• Aid in curriculum growth and student assessment
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN or BN)
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Clinical supervision experience preferred
• Master’s degree in nursing considered an asset
• Current driver’s license required
Contribute to nursing leadership and education while shaping future nurse leaders at UPEI.
