Enhance nursing education as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Prince Edward Island. This full-time position involves direct supervision and guidance for nursing students in medical-surgical environments.
UPEI’s Faculty of Nursing is looking for qualified candidates to fill the Clinical Nursing Instructor role. You'll provide essential clinical oversight and education to undergraduate nursing students in multiple care settings, including hospitals and community health. Your contribution will be vital in advancing evidence-based teaching and fostering critical thinking among future nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise nursing students during clinical practice
• Guide learners in medical-surgical nursing scenarios
• Coordinate experiences in community and long-term care
• Support innovative research in nursing education
• Assess student performance and participation
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN or BN)
• Minimum of 3 years in clinical nursing practice
• Preference for candidates with clinical supervisory experience
• CNEI Clinical Instructor Certificate desirable
• Valid driver’s license necessary
