Youth Engagement Coordinator at BGC

Shape the future of youth in Charlottetown as a Youth Engagement Coordinator with BGC Charlottetown. Engage with and empower young people ages 12-18 through innovative programming.

This role combines supervision with administration, reporting to the Program Manager. As the coordinator, you will oversee daily programming and create a safe, fun environment for youth. Leveraging partnerships with local schools and the community library, you will develop engaging activities in arts, sports, and technology while guiding participants in life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily activities for youth programs

• Manage budgets and track expenses efficiently

• Supervise a team of program leaders for quality delivery

• Communicate effectively with all program stakeholders

• Monitor participant safety throughout activities

Requirements:

• Must possess or obtain First Aid & CPR certification

• Criminal reference check required

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Minimum age of 21 years

• Previous youth work experience preferred
