Advanced Engineer, Product Engagement

Invesco is seeking a technology leader to drive product and client reporting initiatives using Mule Soft, AWS, Snowflake, and Alfresco to power the Vermilion Reporting Suite. The role operates within a Scaled Agile environment, delivering value through strong collaboration and rapid deployment of rich client communications.

• Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and processes.
• Solve complex problems with technological proposals.
• Research and stay abreast of latest technology trends.
• Develop project estimates and manage work plans.
• Answer team member questions, assist with issues, and oversee work for quality.
• Lead a team of engineers – development, mentoring, product delivery management.
• Adhere to department standards for design, development, and quality control.
• Deliver technical design documentation and implement business requirements.
• Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.
• Report progress and raise issues to project management in a timely manner.
• Perform technical analysis, proofs of concept, building, unit testing, QA, system testing, and implementation per IT development life cycle.
• Provide post‑implementation support.
• Create and maintain system and process documentation.
• Develop improvements to team processes and procedures.
• Handle deployments and define best practices and coding guidelines.
• Keep up to date with content‑management industry trends and cloud platform updates.

• Extremely proficient in developing and consuming REST APIs via Mule Soft.
• Expertise in Mule Soft 4, API‑led connectivity, microservices, Java.
• Experience in a Dev Ops environment (CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of AWS, specifically EKS and EC2.
• Strong grasp of design patterns, software engineering concepts and best practices.
• 3+ years of full‑stack OOP development in Java.
• 3+ years of SQL‑backed experience;
  Snowflake preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to consume libraries, tools, and APIs from other teams.
• Technical team leadership experience.
• Experience in Scaled Agile framework preferred.
• Exposure to Node.
  
  JS, Python, or Java full‑stack development.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.

Charlotte, PR – $50,000 to $65,000 per year, plus incentive pay, varying with skills, experience, and location.
