Overnight Dock Worker

We’re seeking a reliable Dock Worker to join our client's team on the night shift for a short-term assignment. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, as well as general dock housekeeping and material handling duties. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment while handling shipments accurately and safely.
THE JOB

Load and unload customer freight manually and with forklifts

Handle freight safely to prevent damage or injury

Perform dock cleanup, including sweeping floors, disposing of debris, and organizing materials

Assist with stripping and loading trailers using electric or manual pallet jacks

Palletize load bars and perform other clerical or dock duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Physically capable of heavy lifting using proper handling techniques

Comfortable working in a physically active environment with frequent bending and stretching

Previous forklift experience required with a valid forklift license

Must hold a valid Dangerous Goods certificate

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

CSA-approved steel-toed boots
