Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level)

Actalent seeks a detail-oriented and technically skilled Technician or Junior Engineer to operate and support a cutting-edge robotic prototype.

• Operate and support a cutting-edge robotic prototype.
• Work with minimal oversight and take initiative in problem‑solving.
• Capture data and log information in prescribed systems accurately.
• Work with command line interfaces and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical hardware.
• Coordinate with remote technical teams effectively.

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
• Experience with command line interfaces or willingness to learn quickly.
• Computer literacy including data entry and basic software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Contract position based out of Charlton, MA.

Pay range: $38.00–$40.20 per hour.
