Position Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week;
Exact Hours TBD;
Year-Round
Salary: $22.10/hr. (Tier
4)
* An extra $30.71/day will be earned when working a split shift on student contact days*
Responsible To: Child Care Specialist and Director of Community Education
Position Purpose: Provide care for students in program and assist in activities and everyday needs of the site. Give direction to paraprofessionals on site.
Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: See attachment.
Qualifications: Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain); experience working with elementary aged children.
Benefits of Employment:Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
