Job Summary
:
Special education substitute paraprofessionals provide assistance to students on Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) and support to teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities. When a paraprofessional needs to be out of the classroom, a responsible substitute paraprofessional is needed to carry out the educational program. As a substitute paraprofessional, you'll become an important part of our school's educational team, and you'll enable the continuity of the learning experience for all students.

Education/Certification Requirements
:
Associate’s degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on a required Para Educator assessment within 60 days of hire.
