** Entegris is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for polymer fluid handling product such as valves, tubing, and fittings in Chaska, MN as part of the Fluid Handling Unit within Entegris’ Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This segment develops technologies that support design and development of the most advanced semiconductor applications in the world.

* ** Leadership**: A proven track record of leading or supporting new product launches, design improvements and technologies into manufacturing with successful market launches.  Excellent written & verbal communication skills along with efficient project management skills.  Ability to work effectively & respectfully in a team-based & multi-national global engineering environment.  Willingness and ability to be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced design environment.

** Educational Background**:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, and 7+ years of directly related experience is required, advanced degree preferred, licensed as a professional engineer is a plus.  Knowledge in semiconductor hardware, metrology and other equipment desired.
** Experience**:
Ability to design, fabricate, and qualify products and equipment used in the manufacture and testing of products, hands-on experience using various machine shop tools, processes and equipment assumed.  Knowledge of materials and material properties is extremely useful in the role.  The Senior Mechanical Engineer will integrate all facets of design including mechanical design and testing.  Additional expectations: experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), thermal and fluid dynamics, kinematics and dynamics, dimensioning and tolerancing, and failure modes associated with mechanical design and material properties.

** Technical Proficiency**:
Knowledge or experience in engineering design practices, solid modeling (proficient in design tools such as Solid Works, Inventor, ProE), and creating manufacturing drawings for use in producing prototype, low volume, and high-volume components with various machining, molding processes.  Familiarity with various material properties and processes for plating, polishing, anodizing, finishing, inspecting.  

Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, Solidworks, Mini Tab, Autodesk desired.  

Experience with SAP PLM desired.
