Job Description

We are immediately hiring for a Phlebotomist I position at Innova Solutions. The role is a Full time Contract in Chaska, MN and will last for 2+ months. This position requires immediate availability.

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Have direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust, explaining procedures, and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
• Verify patient demographic information/initials, including patient signature post‑venipuncture, to confirm tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (required).
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Pay Range: $21- $25.00 per hour. Pay range offered based on several factors such as education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.
