Pharmacist, Healthcare

Cub Pharmacy in Chaska, MN is looking for a people centric pharmacist to join our team.

• Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, physician orders and company policies regarding the sale of pharmaceuticals.
• Counts, pours, or measures out the required quantity according to established company methods and procedures.
• Offers advice and professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Actively endorses and participates in all clinical program offerings.
• Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors that require the expertise of the pharmacist.
• Communicates and cooperates in a professional manner with peers, subordinates, managers, physicians, and customers in all pharmacy related areas.
• Maintains all state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Accesses the pharmacy computer to obtain complete patient records (on both cash and third‑party prescriptions) and verifies third‑party plan parameters.
• Complies with standard operating procedures in handling and dispensing hazardous drugs.

• Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or Pharm
  
  D) and hold a valid state license.
• Meets all requirements of and maintains status as a Certified Immunizer.
• Must complete continuing education hours as required by state, federal, and company training programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

• Visual requirements include clarity of vision at more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with color vision, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
• Position may require periodic travel throughout the assigned area by car.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
