* Clinic is open from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
* No required traveling outside of our clinic
* Position has opportunity to work both in clinic and remote  
** Casual staff must also remain familiar with Ridgeview Clinic and Allina Health policies and procedures:
*** Casual staff are required to participate in all mandatory in-services and meetings as required by the department.
* Casual staff are expected to remain current and familiar with clinic policies and procedures via in-services and meetings, Ridgeview and Allina electronic communication, etc.
* Casual staff are required to work a minimum of 32 hours a quarter (i.e., a 3-month period) or 8 hours per month based on business need. Variation from this policy will be determined by the Supervisor of the Clinic on a case-by-case basis requests for extended, pre-approved time off by casual staff, such as scheduled vacations or FMLA.
* All casual staff are required to give availability notice prior to final schedule release (i.e., dates not able to work, dates wanting to work, etc.).

* Job Description:

** Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs.

Specializes in working with individuals, families, and groups with a focus on mental health. May work in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics and the community.  
** Principle Responsibilities
*** Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; identification of outcomes based on needs assessment; establishing the plan of care; supervising the progress; and modification of the plan of care as needed.
* Maintains education and competencies to remain proficient to provide high quality patient care practice and skills.
* Incorporates evidence-based nursing practice taking into consideration current statutes, rules and regulations when developing the plan of care.
* Establishes, in the collaboration with the family and patient, realistic and measurable patient expected outcomes based on nursing diagnoses, patients present and potential capabilities, goals, available resources and plan for continuity of care.
* Identifies outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic and attainable.
