• Adhere to safe work practices, GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is maintained. Report any conditions that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Remove potato and other debris from floor and non‑food contact surfaces.
• Sanitize floors according to the prescribed schedule while preventing cross‑contamination of food contact surfaces.
• Maintain floor cleaning check‑off sheet.
• Remove all potato debris from the clean room using the dump hopper.
• Clean and maintain dump hopper totes and equipment.
• Effectively communicate relevant information to fellow employees on shift and to incoming employees at shift change.
• Communicate all process inefficiencies, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns and GMP issues to the department lead and/or supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department per the daily sanitation checklist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Communication Skills
  Basic English (verbal and written) is required to read and comprehend safety instructions, rules and warnings for self and others in normal and emergency situations.
• Language Skills
  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Reasoning Ability
  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form and deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.
• Pay Range
  The pay range for this position is $16.72 to $18.00 per hour.
