We are currently seeking a Compo under Manager to support our Chaska locations.

This position is responsible for contributing to the success of our clients by ensuring batches are produced safely, on time, and profitably. It effectively manages the compounding team by supervising the mixing of raw ingredients to produce finished batches of high‑quality over‑the‑counter, personal care, and household products, following complex company procedures, operating compounding tanks and relevant equipment, while maintaining safety, product quality, and meeting production goals.

The role is scheduled to work the 1st Shift: Monday‑Friday 6:00am‑2:00pm, Chaska location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Efficiently oversee the daily production of customer orders to ensure that production not only meets but exceeds the schedule, while simultaneously achieving safety, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Ensure batches are prioritized to be compounded to satisfy the production schedule.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and ready for scheduled batches.
  • Investigate and follow up on any batch delays.
  • Review the final batch and perform necessary kitting.
  • Maintain an active presence on the floor to monitor, motivate and ensure success.
  • Participate in safety initiatives.
  • Oversee compounding, transfer, cleaning and sanitizing processes.
  • Enforce all compounding SOPs and GMPs are in compliance and accurate.
  • Coordinate with Pre‑weigh to ensure that appropriate procedures are attached to batches prior to compounding.
  • Ensure hot room chemicals are in place and no expired chemicals / weighing errors.
  • Follow up and investigate any delays in chemical receiving and/or pre‑weigh.
  • Maintain compounding visual flow boards so that they are always up to date.
  • Participate in the MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) process.
  • Support data collection to drive metric improvements.
  • Understand and maintain a culture of “lean action” within the department so that we live lean better than any organization.
  • Apply and utilize “lean tools” to permanently implement improvements.
  • Institutionalize 5‑S in all aspects of the department. (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
  • Use metrics to identify gaps and build improvement plans, striving for zero defects.
  • Ensure department SOPs and Work Instructions are developed, maintained, trained to, and followed by employees to drive a culture of discipline throughout the shift.
  • Utilize daily standard work for self and direct reports to reinforce a culture of discipline and consistent practices.

Required Experience and Skills
  • 3+ years supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 4‑year college degree preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with the operation of mixing tanks, pumps and all material handling equipment.
  • Sanitation process experience.
  • In‑depth knowledge of chemical handling and processing.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • Forklift license required and must be maintained.
