What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a full-time Low-Voltage Project Manager with a passion for service and commercial technology systems construction.

  • Collaborates with the EPS Sales Team and Project Manager to determine the best approach, value, and pricing needs for commercial low-voltage projects.
  • Leads the Low-Voltage Team by developing and planning effective and competitive bid proposals and estimates of low-voltage projects and change orders.
  • Ensures the success of each assigned technology systems project including but not limited to the following technology systems: structured cabling, access control, surveillance and security, audio/visual, distributed antenna systems, and fire alarm.
  • Controls and tracks work assignments, project deadlines, and develops effective and efficient solutions for customers as needed.
  • Works closely with the EPS Technology Systems Field Supervisor and other assigned Project Manager by supporting new and existing customers, including providing maintenance services for new and past projects.
  • Works as part of the EPS Technology Systems Team on larger commercial low-voltage projects and independently on smaller projects.
  • Responsible for following up with customers before, during, and after the project with clear communication regarding project status ensuring customer satisfaction and needs are met.
  • Completes all required project documents and paperwork including the ordering of required materials and providing information for accurate billing and estimates to customers.
  • Works closely with the customer to determine labor needs for commercial technology system projects, installation, and project closeout to completion.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor setting project objectives and ensures final project meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.
  • Continuously and proactively seeks opportunities with customers advising them of the services EPS can provide and in turn shares information with EPS Divisional Managers and Service Department Manager how to best serve EPS customers.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Registered Unlicensed Power Limited Technician registration with the State of Minnesota. Power Limited License preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with the installation, troubleshooting, demo, and understanding of commercial low-voltage applications and installation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and having a keen sense for detail.
  • Ability to have good foresight skills to anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and the ability to react and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications Set You Apart

  • Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints and technical documents related to low-voltage and technology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards for low-voltage applications.
  • Power Limited Technician or RCDD Certification
  • OSHA 10 and first aid certifications.
  • A Medical Health Card.
  • Highly skilled and versatile professional who has experience in problem solving and the ability to ensure the smooth operation of any low-voltage systems
  • Proficiency with business software, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
