Road Construction Milling Machine Operator

Miller is seeking a Road Construction Milling Machine Operator to operate and maintain milling equipment while ensuring project quality and efficiency. This pivotal role requires strong mechanical skills and collaboration.

As a Milling Machine Operator, you’ll control machinery to achieve the desired depth and slope while conducting maintenance like tooth changing and monitoring. Daily tasks also include measuring areas milled and preparing reports for accountability. Physical labor in outdoor settings is part of the job, supporting teamwork on road construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate milling machines in a safe manner

• Perform preventative maintenance and record keeping

• Coordinate with General Contractors on job completion

• Engage in physical labor and assist team members

• Carry out other assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

• Road construction experience is an asset

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license essential

• AZ License and Skid Steer skills are a plus

• Excellent communication abilities

• Must be able to travel and work weekends as necessary
