Job Duties
  • Greeting customers promptly, scheduling service appointments and receiving vehicle information
  • Listening to requests for service, clearly explaining repair order information
  • Confirming and processing applicable vehicle warranty packages for repairs and maintenance
  • Estimating the cost and time required for repairs accurately
  • Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
  • Periodically checking on vehicle progress during servicing, obtaining customer approval for additional work, explaining the work performed and charges billed
  • Arranging sublets (warranty and customer‑pay) as required
  • Performing walk‑throughs of vehicles (using a tablet) upon check‑in
  • Properly documenting authorizations for all repairs
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years service advisor experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Coachable and open to new improvement methods
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Capability to multitask with multiple customers simultaneously
  • Toyota service advisor experience is a definite plus
  • XTIME experience is a definite plus
