St. Clair Pathologist in Speech & Language

Location: Wallaceburg

Join the St. Clair Catholic District School Board as a Speech and Language Pathologist, focusing on enhancing communication skills in a school setting. Collaborate with educators to provide assessments and therapeutic support for students.

Reporting to the Principal - Special Education, this role requires you to work closely with school personnel to implement speech and language services. You will be responsible for assessing students' needs and collaborating with teachers and parents to provide comprehensive support. Effective communication and report writing are crucial components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with school staff to deliver services

• Conduct student screening and assessments

• Develop and recommend intervention strategies

• Provide direct therapy to students as needed

• Communicate effectively through reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited program

• Current certification from the Ontario College of Audiologists

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability in report writing and assessments

• Team-oriented approach in a professional environment
