Position: Indigenous Youth Graduation Coach Opportunity

Become a Graduation Coach for Indigenous Youth with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. Empower students in Sarnia-Lambton to achieve educational success through personalized support.
This full-time role is dedicated to enhancing outcomes for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students. You will tailor success plans to individual students, identify barriers to educational achievement, and contribute to their overall wellness. This position requires active collaboration with teachers, families, and the Indigenous community to support students in a culturally relevant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored plans for student success

• Mentor students and advocate for their needs

• Engage families to address barriers affecting learning

• Conduct needs assessments to identify obstacles

• Facilitate cultural engagement activities during breaks
Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in relevant fields

• Minimum two years of related experience

• Knowledge of systemic barriers facing Indigenous students

• Strong understanding of anti-Indigenous racism

• Proven ability to foster communication and mentoring
