Position: St. Clair Catholic District School Board Worker
Location: Wallaceburg

Join the St. Clair Catholic District School Board as a Child and Youth Worker. Collaborate with educational teams to promote student well-being and support emotional and behavioral goals.

In this impactful role, you will focus on developing and implementing strategies to assist students in achieving their mental health and behavioral goals. You will work alongside teachers, parents, and community agencies to foster a supportive environment for students. Your commitment to self-regulation techniques will guide your interactions and overall approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students using a problem-solving approach

• Collaborate with educational staff and parents

• Attend and facilitate team meetings

• Engage with community resources as needed

• Participate in training to enhance student wellbeing

Requirements:

• Completion of a three-year Child and Youth Worker program

• Three years of relevant experience

• Membership in Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care

• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License for transportation
