Secondary Cosmetology Teacher

Join the team at Ursuline College Catholic Secondary School as a Permanent Secondary Cosmetology Teacher. This part-time role focuses on curriculum development and student assessment in cosmetology.

In this position, you will teach cosmetology courses to secondary students while crafting effective lesson plans.

Your role will also involve assessing student performance and maintaining records. Starting September 1, 2026, you will play a key role in fostering student learning and growth in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach diverse cosmetology subjects to secondary school students

• Create and develop comprehensive lesson plans and curriculum

• Assess and record student performance meticulously

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents for student support

• Follow all applicable school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers

• Senior and intermediate qualifications in cosmetology

• Experience in a long-term occasional assignment of at least four months

• References and police record check needed

• Recent pastoral letter of reference required
